Welcome to the new website of the Centre for Police Studies!
20 years of cooperation between police and science!
The Centre for Police Studies is the result of the cooperation between, on the one hand, the Flemish speaking academic educations at universities and colleges, active in criminology, and, on the other hand, the different Flemish and central training centres for police. The organised activities are therefore worked out by an intensive cooperation between the Flemish speaking police services, police academies and the Flemish universities and colleges. This cooperation is reflected in 3 activities: conferences, publishing Police Journals and academic research.
On May 14th 2009 celebrated its 20th anniversary at the Belgium Pier at the Belgian coast. Read more...
